Dollar General Merchandiser Brandpoint Services
This collective action is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
This lawsuit against Brandpoint Services is one of many lawsuits that The Buenker Law Firm has filed on behalf of traveling merchandisers who were paid on a per-job, weekly basis by merchandising companies like Brandpoint to “refresh” or “remodel” Dollar General stores around the U.S. This work involves reorganizing, and stocking store shelves at Dollar Generals and usually involves working between 60 and 70 hours per week. These individuals travel to various locations around the country, regularly workemore than 40 hours per week, were not paid for their travel time, and were not paid overtime pay for the hours that they worked over 40.
Brandpoint, like all of the other Dollar General merchandisers, denies liability, and the Plaintiffs are seeking to have the case certified as a collective action. If you have any questions or would like more information about this case, please give us a call.
