Thomas Jeneby, M.D. aka “Dr. Boom Boom Pow”

This collective action is pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, San Antonio Division.

The Buenker Law Firm is prosecuting this lawsuit against plastic surgeon Thomas Jeneby, who likes to be called “Dr. Boom Boom Pow” with Welmaker Law, PC. It is one of many lawsuits that The Buenker Law Firm has handled on behalf of employees of medical practices who have been improperly paid. In this case, the medical practice hired nurses and other employees as “salaried” workers but did not pay them all of their salary when they worked less than 40 hours in a week. However, when these employees worked more than 40 hours in a week, Dr. Jeneby did not pay them for the hours over 40.  Dr. Jeneby wants to have the benefit of a salary (set amount of pay) only during those weeks when it benefits him. The law does not allow that.

We anticipate that Dr. Jeneby will deny liability, and the Plaintiffs are seeking to have the case proceed as a collective action to give the other employees an opportunity to join the case. If you have any questions or would like more information about this case, please give us a call.
